IV. Use of "Google Analytics for Firebase"

1. For the purpose of statistical analysis, the BB Data Protection App uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). The information about your use of the BB Data Protection App will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information on our account to evaluate your use of the App, create reports on App activities, in particular to provide anonymised crashlogs and statistics on the use and functionalities of the App. Google will not associate your iOS Identifier transmitted by your mobile Apple device as part of Google Analytics for Firebase with any other data held by Google.

2. You may prevent the collection and transmission of the data related to your usage of the App (including your iOS Identifier) to Google as well as the processing of such data by Google by disagreeing to the use of Google Analytics for Firebase when starting the App by declaring your express "opt-out".

3. The use of the iOS Identifiers by Google Analytics for Firebase also includes the so-called "Advertising Identifier for iOS" that facilitates targeted ads for the user. However, we do not use the data for advertising purposes; this purpose is also not intended by us. Above that, it is also possible that Google Analytics for Firebase uses cookies to gain information about you as user of the App and to use such information in the anonymised statistics. We will not be provided with personal data about you and your specific user behaviour with regards to the App by Google Analytics for Firebase.

4. You will find further information on terms of use and data protection when using Google Analytics for Firebase under https://firebase.google.com/terms/analytics/ and https://firebase.google.com/policies/analytics/.
